Diamond pad Polor, abrasive grade 200 (BLUE), is performed for cleaning and gridding stone surfaces (Marble, Granit, Concrete, Terrazzo, Tiles) and suitable for all range of scrubber-driers, grinding and polishing machines.

Diamond pad Polor, abrasive grade 200 (Blue), is best used for mechanical removal of accumulated dirt and scratches (up to 62-74 microns deep).

Due to the pad’s structure, formed by a special synthetic adhesive, process of Grinding, Cleaning and Polishing is exclusively water-based. Water cools the adhesive and removes the dirt with grinding remains (grinding powder).

Usage of diamond pad 200 will result in a matt appearance to surfaces. It will appear more even and smoother, but will not shine.

It cannot be determined the number of the transverse movements of the machine equipped with diamond pads. It depends on Hardness and Level of Ingrained Dirt on the surface.

If some of the deeper scratchers remained on the surface the grinding process should be repeated with the diamond pad of the lower abrasive grade, e.g. 100. After finishing the grinding with lower abrasive grade diamond pad, the procedure should be repeated with the diamond pad 200.

After finishing the grinding with diamond pad 200, the same procedure should be repeated with the diamond pad with abrasive grade 400. It is strongly recommended to increase the index respectively, e.g. not to use pad 1500 straight after the one with abrasive grade 200.

The process of grinding and cleaning with diamond pads of low abrasive grade 50, 100, 200, 400 demands from the operator of the machine a high precision and accuracy of workmanship. It is exceptionally important, if the diamond pads of higher abrasive grade are supposed to be used after, in order to achieve the high-gloss effect of a surface.

The average usage of diamond pad with abrasive grade 200 is from 200 to 500 m² of stone surface.
