Diamond pad Polor, abrasive grade 50 (BLACK), is performed for hard surfaces (Marble, Granit, Concrete, Terrazzo, Tiles) and suitable for all range of scrubber-driers, grinding and polishing machines.

Diamond pad Polor, abrasive grade 50 (BLACK), is best used for mechanical removal of deep scratches (up to 250-297 microns deep) filled with dirt.

Due to the pad’s structure, formed by a special synthetic adhesive, process of Grinding, Cleaning and Polishing is exclusively water-based. Water cools the adhesive and removes the dirt with grinding remains (grinding powder). It is important to remove all the grinding remains with the wet vacuum cleaner or the suction system of scrubber-drier. Operator should continue grinding until noticeable decrease of the grinding remains.

Usage of diamond pad 50 will result in a matt appearance to surfaces. It will appear more even and smoother, but will not shine.

It cannot be determined the number of the transverse movements of the machine equipped with diamond pads. It depends on Hardness and Level of Ingrained Dirt on the surface.

After finishing the grinding with diamond pad 50, the same procedure should be repeated with the diamond pad with abrasive grade 100.  It is strongly recommended to increase the index respectively, e.g. not to use pad 400 straight after the one with abrasive grade 50.

The process of grinding and cleaning with diamond pads of low abrasive grade 50, 100, 200, 400 demands from the operator of the machine a high precision and accuracy of workmanship. It is exceptionally important, if the diamond pads of higher abrasive grade are supposed to be used after, in order to achieve the high-gloss effect of a surface.

The average usage of diamond pad with abrasive grade 50 is from 50 to 200 m² of stone surface.
